Eric Seiverling
Freelance writer, editor

About

Eric Seiverling is a professional, award-winning writer and editor with 10 years of experience writing for media outlets as varied as local newspapers, national magazines and even management training videos.

His arrival into the world of writing was an unexpected one. At the age of 12 he began his obsession with music and guitars. Through his teens, he became an accomplished musician and performer, while still searching for a steady career. One night, he looked at his pile of guitar magazines and was hit with the realization that he could go to school for journalism and write about what he loved: music. His music background has had an effect on his prose, as his writing has been described as having "great rhythm."

Since pursuing writing full-time, he's conducted interviews and written topics on the performing arts, history, health, music, business and sports. His freelance writing and editing services include brochures, newsletters, public relations and advertising copy, video scripts and ghostwriting. He is based in Pittsburgh, PA.

Why hire a freelance writer?

Even in this era of electronics and the Internet, writing is still a powerful and effective way to get your message across to hundreds or even thousands of people. Companies are looking for the most cost-effective means to advertise, entertain and educate. As a freelance writer, Eric Seiverling provides creative, concise and clear writing while meeting deadlines.

Or maybe you have a compelling story to tell, but feel intimidated by the written word. As a ghostwriter, Eric can help you get your ideas out of your head and onto paper (or in the computer!) in a professional but relaxed manner.
